American Hustle: production values

Throughout the trailer we see the elements of a high budget film in a mid-budget film. The first way is through the clothes that the actors are wearing. For example; 3 piece suits, real fur coat, rolex etc. we can also see it through the props, such as; the cars they drive, private jet. In the trailer we can lots more elements of a high budget film because of the settings that some of the scenes have been taken in, for example, Amy Adams is sitting on a leather sofa with marble on all of the walls. Although they are in this setting we found out that it is the producer’s house. He also produced films such as; silver linings, the wolf of wall street and many more big films, this shows that he has enough money to have a house like this and be able to use it for the film. Also they are in a casino with money all over the table.
