spiderman - context and actors

Past Comics

Past films

Andrew Garfield
Past Films: The social network, Never let me go, Lions for Lambs and Red Riding: the year of our lords series.
Amazing spider-man franchise has sold many at box office mainly because its a part of marvel. The appearance of Andrew Garfield helped sell more because he is a big Hollywood actor, he’s young, attractive, charismatic and fits the position of the character so the marvels fans approve of him.
Why they have been re-released?
In actual fact the movie franchise of the amazing Spiderman has never been re-released. Yes they have made other spider-man films but they are both based around two completely different spider-man universes, one is from the amazing spider-man comics (probably the 2011-2012 editions) and the other is based on the comic books that is just called “Spiderman”.
How they have adapted the film to the new market
They have improved and used a variety of new special effects to wow the audience and keep them amused. They have included in the film ways the audience can relate to the character for example the use of slang. The advertisement was used excessively and was found everywhere to show people that the film was coming out. Because it was everywhere it meant that everyone knew about it.
Before the films
The cartoons were a big part of the Spiderman franchise especially in the 90’s. It kept the franchise alive because it was keeping up with the times. The amount of comic book readers was declining so they made a TV show that was accessible and cheap for the audience.
