High budget or low budget

The amazing Spiderman 2 is a high budget film and this is due to many different factors. One of these reasons is because of the actors in the film. The actors that are used are very well known actors who have starred in many films which are also very well known. The reason they are so well known is because they have a high budget so they can pay for very good actors. And by these actors starring in the amazing Spiderman 2 shows to us they have put a lot of money into this film.

Andrew Garfield previous films- the amazing Spiderman, the social network, never let me go, air and many more. From this we can see that other than the previous Spiderman the films that Andrew Garfield has been in are not very well known films which could mean that the previous amazing Spiderman is not going to be as successful as the new one because the main actor wasn’t as well-known back then.

Emma stone previous films- gangsters’ squad, the croods, zombieland, the amazing Spiderman and many other films. Emma is a more well-known actor who has been in higher budget films which shows to us that she would be a more expensive actor to hire therefore the company must have a lot of money to still be able to pay for the actors and everything else that is included with the production.

Another reason for why it is a high budget film is down to the companies that have produced the film. The amazing Spiderman has been produced by four well-known companies e.g. marvel enterprises, Columbia pictures, Avi Arad productions and Matt Tolmach productions. These production companies have produced many high budget films which are very well known, which means that they only produce films that they know are going to get watches and what they approve of. This is another reason for why the film is a high budget film.

The setting for the film varies from different places for the different scenes. These locations included; Rochester New York USA, Bethpage Long Island USA, Brooklyn New York USA, Grumman aerospace factory New York USA, New York City and Iron Head studio California. All of these locations will have had to of been hired for the company to film without having any cars or pedestrians interrupting there film. Hiring a large part of a city would cost the company fortunes because this means that no one can go in the part where they are filming. So in order for them to do this they would have to have lots of money for the government to allow them to do this. Therefore if it was a low budget film they would not be able to afford to do this.
