17, 2013, Sony released a clip from the film with the first released footage of
Jamie Foxx as electro. It was released at San Diego Comic-Con International.

Trailers

were two trailers that were released onto the Sony’s YouTube channel. The first
one was released on 5th December 2013, which was a teaser trailer.
This is used to widen the target audience and to give you a small clip of the
film before the full trailer is released. The teaser trailer is released while
the film was still in production. This trailer received 29 million views.

second trailer was released on 19th march 2013. This is the full
trailer that is the last things used to grab people’s attention and is a
reminder about the film. They are used to create excitement. The trailer of

The older films are also on film sites such as Netflix. This is good as it acts as promotion, meaning that the older films are easier to access and so people can watch previous films before they go to see the newest on in the cinema.
